Maggie Odell (Frazier) Underhill, age 86, formerly of Royal Oak, Michigan, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born September 3, 1923 in Smithville, Tennessee, the daughter of Amon Buchanan Frazier and Maggie (Hopper) Frazier.
Maggie grew up in Tennessee and shortly after high school graduation, she ventured out on her own. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia to work building fighter aircraft in support of World War II. Maggie lived in Royal Oak for nearly 60 years where she was a homemaker and professional tailor and seamstress while caring for her family and supporting her church (Central Free Will Baptist).

Maggie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Julane Underhill of Pickford, Michigan; son-in-law, Thomas R. McCullough of Royal Oak; and grandson, Ian R. McCullough.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Underhill and daughter, Patty Jean Underhill McCullough. |
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29 from 9:30 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Central Free Will Baptist Church, 2005 Rochester Road in Royal Oak. Interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery.
